That really is a wow. As I was reading it I had to wonder about her mother? If this woman is a retired professor than she must be in her 50s or older which would make her mother in her 70s or 80s. Made me wonder, 'was her mother very unhappy raising children?" "Was she really raised at home or did her mother work?" I take is she hasn't ever had children and i wonder is she even ever married? I feel kind of bad for her because she really seems to have a lot of discontent and anger in her for some reason.
I know. I don't see how she could be happy! She couldn't possibly have had a happy home life with her mother at home (although she may have had a happy home life with her mother working or an unhappy home life with her mother at home).
I doubt she ever had children (or at least not more than one! LOL).
I must say the results of her little study with the "brides" were encouraging. They actually suprised me! I wouldn't have expected so many of those brides she described to have chosen to be stay-at-home-moms.
