Humm...Since I am not exactly sure what deference is completely and how it would be played out I won't comment on that one. As to discernment I pray I have a healthy dose of that and I like to think I am very dependable. I usually get things done if I say I will and if someone needs me I am usually there for them.
Deference: courteous submission to the opinion, wishes, or judgement of another; courteous respect.
I like to think I am very dependable, too! I usually am. I always try to be, but I know I need to work on that in a couple areas of my life. Sometimes I lack decernment. It's something I need to pray for. I think I am often decerning, though, so I guess I do have some decernment in my hope chest--just need more (isn't that the way it is with everything? Hehe). I am sometimes deferent, but do have a bit of a problem there, especially with my own family. Mmmm. I'll have to think about that!
